Privacy Policy

ROI Pulse ("ROI Pulse", "we", "us") is a performance advertising company headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through roipulse.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights available to you. We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and, where it applies to visitors from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / UK GDPR).

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form: your name, work email address, company name, the type of enquiry you select, and the message you write. We use this to respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
• Email correspondence: anything you choose to send to sales@roipulse.com or support@roipulse.com.
• Newsletter: if you submit your email address in the subscription box, it is used solely to confirm your interest. We do not currently store newsletter addresses in a marketing database; if this changes, we will update this policy first.

Information collected automatically

• Hosting logs: the Site is served by Netlify, whose infrastructure records standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and operational purposes.
• Fonts: the Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts; your browser transmits your IP address to Google when fetching them.
• Consent preference: your cookie-banner choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage), not on our servers.

We do not currently run analytics, advertising pixels, or any cross-site tracking on this Site. If we introduce analytics in the future, it will load only after you choose "Accept All" in the cookie banner.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries and provide requested information or proposals (POPIA: processing necessary to conclude or perform a contract; GDPR Art. 6(1)(b));
• To operate, secure and improve the Site (legitimate interests; GDPR Art. 6(1)(f));
• To comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the information you submit through this Site for automated decision-making about you.

3. Sharing and processors

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under instruction, currently:

• Netlify, Inc. — website hosting and delivery;
• Google LLC — font delivery, and form-response storage (Google Sheets/Workspace) where used to receive contact-form submissions;
• Our email providers — to receive and answer messages sent to our mailboxes.

These providers may store information outside South Africa, the EEA or the UK. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we rely on the provider's compliance frameworks and contractual safeguards appropriate to the destination, as required by POPIA section 72 and GDPR Chapter V.

4. Retention

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records, unless a longer period is required by law. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 6).

5. Security

The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to mailboxes and form-response storage is limited to people who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by POPIA section 22.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• request access to the personal information we hold about you;
• request correction or deletion of that information;
• object to processing based on legitimate interests;
• lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in South Africa, the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za); in the EEA/UK, your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@roipulse.com. We respond within the timelines required by applicable law.

7. Children

The Site is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
